Foods That Fight Cancer and Foods That Help Cancer.

It is beyond doubt that there are foods that help to fight cancer, and foods that help it to flourish.

Why is it that....the more food consumed... the more cancer is evident? Could it be because the standard of nutrition consumed is so pitifully low?

This is shown by the following observations...

First let's look at how rural Russians eat, and why they are so slim and healthy...

The mistake is that we have recently been mercilessly encouraged to buy and consume foods that are EMPTY of vital nutrients.

It's the TYPE of food that matters...

By getting back to nature, and eating more raw foods, you take one giant step towards a healthier you.

On the other hand...

Processed, artificial, fake foods....(often pretending to be a healthy choice) are usually the antithesis of health creating foods! And over time, they are disease-creating foods. Deep down you know this to be true.

In fact, even good honest fruits and vegetables we assume to be super-healthy...... now have 30 TIMES LESS vital nutrients (vitamins and minerals) than back in 1950, due to modern chemical based farming methods, designed to maximise profit, rather than produce healthy people. 

And.....because the food on offer is largely LACKING in the vital key nutrients our bodies desperately need, we are compelled (subconsciously) to EAT LARGE AMOUNTS OF FOOD.....to compensate, - so as to possibly increase the odds of getting the required vital nutrients our system needs to ultimately survive. This possibly explains why millions are carrying so much excess weight!! 

According to BBC News...

The number of overweight and obese adults in the developing world has almost quadrupled to around one billion since 1980, says a report from a UK think tank.

In the UK, 64% of adults are classed as being overweight or obese. BBC News report.

And two thirds of Americans are overweight or obese.

Fast food and unhealthy processed foods and drinks like cola are the main culprit.


The Prime Cause of Cancer:

Nobel Prize winning scientist Dr Otto Warburg discovered that cancer no longer requires oxygen, but instead resorts to a primitive survival state whereby it feeds on glucose.

Sugar!! Yes Sugar!!

This is not to say that cancer is caused by sugar, but it is, - by definition of the above scientific fact,  certainly FUELLED by sugar.

Knowing this, why would we feed ourselves relentlessly on sugar...and other carbohydrates that become glucose (sugar) shortly after consuming? Is this not mad?

And.... why does the medical profession not warn cancer patients about the gigantic folly of continuing to eat (and drink) tons of sugar? To not do so is akin to a criminal act in my view, like a mechanic waving a customer goodbye and not warning him that his brakes are faulty! 

Instead, most cancer patients (including myself at the time) are told you can eat whatever you like. Not one restriction!!

Yet when they do a "pet scan", they use a radioactive liquid laced with GLUCOSE so as to track its progress through the body, and observe where the radioactive sugar/glucose might go...and, by this process can ascertain where suspected tumours might be growing. Any cancer is lit up like a Christmas tree!! revealing itself as it feasts on the glucose.

This is proof that cancer feeds on sugar, if any more were needed... One would assume that sugar should be considered the enemy! One that is well within our control! Yet the medical profession seems to totally ignore such logic.

True we need glucose for energy, but we DON'T NEED TO FORCE FEED CANCER!!! as if fattening up a prize bull for a horticultural show!

Those that eat the most food, tend to get the most cancer
If modern day FOOD was the main cause of cancer, then those that consume the most food, would obviously get more cancer. And this appears to be the case.

Studies confirm that high risk groups, like the over weight and obese are a lot more prone to cancer. Why?

By definition, these are people consuming the most food. And if that food happens to be extremely unhealthy - like the infamous "Standard American Diet"...(SAD) or similar... then it's highly likely that such a diet is LACKING in good nutrients, and OVERFLOWING with bad nutrients, like abundant sugar, processed ingredients and additives. This type of eating is suspected of being at the heart of the appalling health statistics we see in Western society in the modern era, with heart disease, stroke, and cancer being terrifyingly common.

If cars were sometimes suffering catastrophic failure due to "engine rot" disease, and the cars using a certain type of new improved synthetic fuel were far more prone to that disease, then it would soon be discontinued, and everyone would see the likely culprit.

All this requires unreasonable acts of biochemistry! simply to stay alive.

The charity Wild Futures says a third of the monkeys at its sanctuary in Cornwall  (UK) - most of which have been rescued from the pet trade - have developed chronic diabetes after being fed inappropriate food by their owners. 

Such monkeys have evolved in the rain forests over millions of years, and are then stupidly fed human type food and candy! 

What sane person would imagine they wouldn't get sick?

But is the human race so very different from our biological cousins? And is it not predictable that we too would get sick eating such unnatural highly processed foods developed in the laboratory?

Human genes, - and our body mechanisms - have had a very short time to adapt to such change. But given that much of this food is unnatural and essentially unhealthy in the extreme, one cannot expect anything other than plentiful disease. i.e. Cause and effect.

Modern food is created for profit, and has no other purpose, no matter what the ad-team might try to tell us. And the more irresistible they can make it taste and look, the more we buy. And if cheaper, less ideal ingredients equal more profit, then that is what will often be used.

Truth About pH and Cancer

What's the Truth About pH and Cancer?

This subject is one of great debate...and confusion. Let's investigate the FACTS, and find some logical answers.

Acid forming foods:
Most of the foods in your local supermarket are acid forming. Almost all processed food,  fast foods and snacks are acid forming. Cola's and most sugar-laden drinks are acid forming. And most of us eat little of the alkalizing foods our bodies need.

This means most people are overly acidic, and that is a disease forming situation, because vital nutrients and minerals are being used up to counteract these acid forming foods. Thus your body can become deficient of vital minerals that are needed for maintaining health. Bad news!

For those that insist that pH cannot be improved by diet...
perhaps you will believe the major authority on all things medical and science based research, PubMed. PubMed comprises more than 24 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

Alkaline diets result in a more alkaline urine pH and may result in reduced calcium in the urine, however, as seen in some recent reports, this may not reflect total calcium balance because of other buffers such as phosphate. There is no substantial evidence that this improves bone health or protects from osteoporosis. However, alkaline diets may result in a number of health benefits as outlined below: (my emphasis)
  1. Increased fruits and vegetables in an alkaline diet would improve the K/Na ratio and may benefit bone health, reduce muscle wasting, as well as mitigate other chronic diseases such as hypertension and strokes.
  2. The resultant increase in growth hormone with an alkaline diet may improve many outcomes from cardiovascular health to memory and cognition.
  3. An increase in intracellular magnesium, which is required for the function of many enzyme systems, is another added benefit of the alkaline diet. Available magnesium, which is required to activate vitamin D, would result in numerous added benefits in the vitamin D apocrine/exocrine systems.
  4. Alkalinity may result in added benefit for some chemotherapeutic agents that require a higher pH.
From the evidence outlined above, it would be prudent to consider an alkaline diet to reduce morbidity and mortality of chronic disease that are plaguing our aging population. One of the first considerations in an alkaline diet, which includes more fruits and vegetables, is to know what type of soil they were grown in since this may significantly influence the mineral content. Note that it is accepted that an alkaline diet (foodstuff) will increase alkalinity, with corresponding health benefits.

It is important to understand that the pH of the blood is automatically held at a steady 7.4 pH in order to maintain life, (otherwise death quickly follows) but, the rest of the body (approx 75 trillion cells) have their own pH requirements, depending on type or organ. However, your blood only represents 8 pints of fluid, (about 5 kg in weight) wheras, for example, the average male might weigh 75 kg. suggesting that about 70 kg of body mass is not blood, and also has key pH requirements to maintain. 

It is this aspect that needs to be addressed (by diet) for optimal cellular health or healing. It is certainly wise to avoid becoming too acidic at the cellular level.

There seems to be some confusion as to what Dr Otto Warburg discovered, and said on this subject. Below is reference to Wikipedia on this issue.

This video is essential viewing to understand the complexity of the process, and how the body works to "balance the books" so to speak. You will also learn how vitally important acids are to fight pathogens.

It is hoped that this information will help people avoid making mistakes regarding pH. With greater understanding of the processes involved, you can make better informed choices.

It is probably wrong to try and live with a strictly "alkaline body" as some suggest. You can go too far. It is probably a good strategy against cancer to RECTIFY your pH, which may have become too acid due to a poor diet over many years. (Cancer also makes the body more acidic as a side effect).  But as you will have learnt, becoming too alkaline can create a host of health problems too.

Correct balance is key to good health and fighting disease. A truly healthy diet - and plenty of exercise - should guarantee a consistent healthy pH. However, to alkalise your body substantially, for a short period while fighting cancer, is apparently a good tactic. This is what I did myself, by including a supplement called Ultimate pH Balance, which are drops you add to a glass of water. I also took plenty of barley grass, a very alkalising supplement. I am convinced that to alkalise the body for a short period of a few weeks in this way can significantly help to stunt the progress of cancer.

Dr Robert O.Young:

It is said that cancer patients are normally acidic. This is due to wrong diet or possibly stress issues etc. Orthodox medicine pays no great attention to this fact. The cause of your cancer is never really investigated or discussed. According to Robert O. Young, cancer can be caused by a failure of the body to eliminate acidic waste from your body. i.e. retaining its own waste products.

The body will always maintain the blood pH at almost 7.4 and all superfluous acid will be dumped into the intercellular fluid, and then eventually it will go to the kidneys and be eliminated via urine.

Saliva should be at least 7.2.

Urine, when measured with a pH strip, should be 7.4 or greater. Anything less than 7.4 indicates you are in acidosis. Cancer patients and diabetics are always going to be around 6 or 6.2

The best time to measure pH is when we are most acidic, which is first thing when you wake up in the morning.
